Paint Protection Film

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent, durable layer applied to a vehicle’s paint to protect it from scratches, chips, and environmental contaminants while preserving its appearance.

Paint Protection Film

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a clear, thermoplastic urethane film applied to a vehicle’s exterior to protect the paint from scratches, rock chips, stains, and other damage caused by road debris, UV rays, and environmental contaminants. It acts as a protective barrier, preserving the car's paintwork while maintaining its glossy appearance. PPF is self-healing, meaning minor scratches and swirl marks can disappear over time with heat. It’s typically applied to high-impact areas like the front bumper, hood, side mirrors, and fenders, but can be used on the entire vehicle for comprehensive protection.

FAQs

  • PPF can last up to 10 years, varying based on circumstances such as exposure to harsh weather, road debris, and how the vehicle is maintained/stored. In the long-term future, it may show signs of wear or slight yellowing, at which time it can be professionally removed and reinstalled.

  • Any painted surface can benefit from PPF, even headlights/taillights and windshields. Our film is precisely cut to the contours of your vehicle. Paint flaws or condition are the mitigating factors in determining whether PPF can be applied or not. Faded paint, cracked paint, failing clear coat, rock chips, etc. cannot be hidden by PPF and these problems should be fixed before purchasing a paint protection film package.

  • Just like with anything, the more you take care of something – the longer it will last. Paint protection film certainly will protect your vehicle, make it less susceptible to environmental damage, and ensure it is easier to clean. We still recommend and advise you to follow some kind of cleaning maintenance whether it be with us or on your own. This will allow the PPF to last as close to that 10 year warranty or beyond as possible.
